Conference Language
The official conference language will be English. No simultaneous translation will
be provided.

Conference registration
Everybody who will be present at the conference must register in first.
A registration table for registration on the spot will be in the lobby of Shangri-La
Hotel during the time of 8:00-18:00, Sep. 12th and 8:00-12:00, Sep. 13th. Other time,
please contact conference office.

Participants may submit their manuscripts when they register or later during the conference. In general, each participant who paid registration fee may submit to the conference only a single manuscript. Each manuscript submission needs an e-version and two hard copies.

Early registration fee(€) should be paid by bank transfer
On-the-spot registration fee will be paid by CASH or by CREDIT CARD (VISA or Master Cards).

Exhibition
The industry exhibition will cover broad industrial sectors, and can be of general
interest for researchers in academia and industry.
Exhibition date: September 14 (Wednesday) -15 (Thursday) (Whole day open).

Notice for poster presenters
Posters will be shown in the exhibition hall from 10:00 to 21:30 of Wednesday,
Sep. 14 and Thursday, Sep. 15. From 19:00 to 21:30, the Authors of the abstracts
for posters should be appeared in front of his poster, so that the relative discussion may be performed. All posters should be taken away by the time of 21:30.

Conference Proceedings
The proceedings of the conference will be published as a regular issue of SURFACE & COATINGS
TECHNOLOGY. All manuscripts will be refereed as customary for original papers.

Manuscript Preparation
Papers will be published in English. Authors' manuscripts must be consistent in style, spelling and
syntax.
1. Structure Please adhere to the following order of presentation:
Article title, Author(s), Affiliation(s), Abstract, PACS codes and keywords, Main text, Acknowledgments, Appendices, References, Figure captions, Tables.
2. Corresponding author The name, complete mail address, telephone and fax numbers and the E-mail address of the corresponding author should be given on the first page of the manuscript.
3. Keywords A maximum of six keywords should be indicated below the abstract to describe the contents of the manuscript. Keywords should be selected, if appropriate, from the following classes: theoretical methods, experimental methods, phenomena, materials, and applications.
4. References References to other work should be consecutively numbered in the text using square brackets and listed by number in the reference list. Please refer to a recent issue of the journal or to the more detailed instructions for examples.
5. Vectors Vectors should be indicated by a wavy underlining in the manuscript, and will be printed in bold-face italics. If necessary, unusual symbols should be explained in pencil in the margin.

Hotel reservation should be made by email or facsimile directly to the conference secretary. Early
hotel reservation is recommended.

Hotel fee will be paid directly to the hotel when you arrive. Payment must be made in Euro or US
dollars. You may pay the fee by cash or by credit card ( VISA or Master Cards). Personal or
company check will not be accepted.
